At the Leeuwarderweg (see parking places) the parking is free.
To reach the parking area:

From Leeuwarden and Harlingen motorway A31:

1. Take the exit Franeker.
2. At the first roundabout, take the second exit; straight on.
3. At the second roundabout, take the third exit (so you drive in the direction of Wommels).
4. At the third roundabout (after the petrol station),turn right
5. After 150 meters and after the Volkswagen dealer and AH, turn right into the car park. Parking is for free, but take care....... part of the car park is "blue zone"!

1. At a roundabout straight on, Franeker 1 (N384); you're on the ringroad now.
2. At the next roundabout, take the first exit, straight on (N384).
3. At the next roundabout, take the second exit, straight on (N384).
4. The same at the next roundabout, the second exit, straight on to Vijfhuizen.
5. At the next (and last!) roundabout, take the first exit.
6. After about 150 meters, directly after passing the Volkswagengarage and AH, turn right, crossing the cyclepath.
7. The car park is now on your rigth. Parking is for free, but take care ...... part of the car park is "blue zone"!

1. After you have parked your car walk to the city centre.
2. Cross the walk/cycle bridge
3. Go straight on through the alley called 'Schoolsteeg'
4. You pass the church and go straight on.
5. You are in Voorstraat. After 100 meters Museum Martena is on your left.
